Hey everyone!

My name is Alyssa West and I'm so happy to serve as one of the counselors here at Long County Middle School! Long County has a special place in my heart because I grew up here and graduated from here. The Long County School System more than prepared me to go on to receive my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Valdosta State University, my Master of Education in Counseling Education from Georgia Southern, and then most recently my Education Specialist degree in School Counseling from VSU. After serving as a counselor at Smiley Elementary for the past three years, I am so excited for this new adventure that allows me to serve the students, staff, and parents at LCMS!

Hi there! My name is Eboni Rivera, and I am originally from Louisiana. My husband is a Long Co. native, and I am excited to call Long County home! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies at The Great Bethune-Cookman University and I earned a Master of Education in School Counseling Education from Fort Valley State University. This will be my second year as a school counselor. Previously, I taught for 8 years. I am looking forward to serving in my new role and assisting LCMS students and families!
