The Lineup
Monday, April 13 — Stars, Stripes, & Sparkles Day Wear stars, stripes, and sparkles in honor of the American Flag.

Tuesday, April 14 — Military Branch & Camo Day Wear camouflage prints or your favorite military branch apparel.

Wednesday, April 15 — Purple Up Day Wear purple to show your support for military children.

Thursday, April 16 — R.E.D. Day (Remember Everyone Deployed) Wear red to acknowledge military family members and troops who are currently deployed.

Friday, April 17 — Boots on the Ground Day Finish the week strong by wearing your favorite boots!

The regular board meeting that was scheduled for April 15th at 4:30 PM has been rescheduled for April 18th at 9:00 AM.

The Long County School System encourages our parents and guardians to discuss the dangers of eating or inhaling unknown substances with our students. Certain candies, foods, beverages, and vapes can contain very dangerous substances that can cause harm to and compromise the health of our children. Please reiterate the importance of never eating, drinking, or inhaling any items that are obtained from strangers or other students. Additionally, please be informed that the possession, sale, or distribution of any unauthorized substances at our schools, athletic facilities, events, or on school buses will be punished to the fullest extent and violators will be referred to local law enforcement. The health and safety of our students are our top priorities. Therefore, we are seeking the assistance of our parents, families, and community to help us protect our children from accidentally or intentionally ingesting dangerous substances. Today, the Walker Pre-K opened the Camp Read-A-Lot room. Classes came in and had a book read to them. They had so much fun!

25-26 Pre-K Online Enrollment begins March 24, 2025!

Congratulations to our Young Georgia Author System Level Winners. We are very proud of their accomplishments in writing. These have been submitted for judging at First District RESA.

Deadline to order yearbooks is March 31st.

As of right now a date for Open Enrollment has not been determined. Once we get all the details in order, we will post the date enrollment will begin. Thanks
