LCMS softball keeps the streak alive with a profound 15-0 victory over Waycross Middle tonight. A fantastic showing by Sophia Brewster getting 5 strikeouts in 2 innings of work and Caitlin Stein pitched 1 inning putting up two strikeouts. The hot bats of the Lady Tide continued with Raelyn Goodman, Jaimelynn Caddell, MK Crews and Riley Bierbrodt all registering solid hits in the victory! GO BLUE TIDE

Important Update from Long County Schools
The first day of school for students has been further delayed due to impassable roads, rising river levels. and continued impacts of Tropical Storm Debby. The tentative first day of school for students will be Wednesday, August 14. School and district offices, including central enrollment, will re-open Monday, August 12. All faculty and staff will return to work Monday, August 12. Please continue to monitor school and district social media sites for updates and a revised 2024-2025 school calendar. We are looking forward to the first day of school.

Important Update:
Long County Schools will delay the first day of school due to the forecast for Tropical Storm Debby. The storm is expected to impact our area with heavy rainfall.
The new schedule is as follows:
- School will be delayed until Thursday, August 8th.
- Additional delays may occur based on:
- Conditions of our dirt roads
- Power outages
- Property Damage
